This original painting, titled Bítlarnir (The Beatles), was created by Hugrún Britta in Reykjavík. She gathers and prepares all her own natural materials — from ash and coal to clay, shells, and stone — transforming them into pigments and textures. The result is a deeply tactile, one-of-a-kind artwork rooted in Iceland’s landscapes.
